Oh Valcucine, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…
To say that this Italian manufacturer of exquisite modern kitchens is environmentally responsible would be a total understatement. I could write twenty pages about their impressive ecological philosophies and the many ways that they’ve put those beliefs into action.
Since 1980, Valcucine has been leading the eco.smart way in the kitchen manufacturing industry by making major efforts to lessen the enivronmental impact of production. They consume a minimum amount of raw materials and energy and try to recycle every bit possible [they even welcome back their own kitchen doors so that they can be recycled into car dashboards!].
Valcucine is also involved in three major ecological projects, including reforestation efforts in Ecuador and Brazil and an eco.educational program at schools in their own province of Pordenone. To add to their list of eco achievements, they were also the “first Italian kitchen manufacturing company to have obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental protection certification.”
All of that environmental planning and the creation of some of the most gorgeous kitchens on the planet! Do you think they’ve been busy enough?
Grazie a Daniele @ Valcucine for these great pix [they continue below]. The Valcucine team is currently prepping madly for Milan Design Week in April. There’s no doubt that it will be spectacular.
