I've been working on + off camera for TV design shows on HGTV, TLC and BBC for the last few years. Green Design Girl on HGTV’s Designer Superstar Challenge.

Running around like a mad woman during the “styling challenge”.

Surprise! You’ve got zero minutes to choose props and 30 seconds to style 3 flats full of shelves!!! [I fully exaggerate, of course]. It was really 5 minutes.

And yes, being on one of these reality competition shows is every bit as crazy as it looks. Times 100. Plus zero sleep. Only insomniacs and adrenaline-rush junkies need apply. :-)
