I don’t normally post about cars [hybrid or not], but I am an avid reader of Treehugger and I’m amazed by the many reactions to the news that one of their writers has purchased an SUV. Organic knickers, far and wide, are most definitely in a knot. Bloggers everywhere are linking to the heated debate, labelling the writer’s reasoning for the purchase an ECO-FAIL.
As for me, I’m just happy and impressed to see people weighing in with such passion on environmental issues. The fact that such discussions are finally taking place on public, widely read forums like this one is encouraging and inspiring. Nice work, Treehugger. You’ve definitely stirred things up over there.
