This is my favourite promo shot from the movie. It also happens to be the wallpaper for my Twitter profile.
Before switching careers to interior design, I worked in the music biz as a radio and club Disc Jockey and Music Publicist [indie + major labels]. My DJ name was Barbarella. I had always loved the campy flick and I thought Fonda looked super hot in it [and I’m a life long fan of hers], so I stuck with the cosmic name for many years. I even went on to collect some of the rare Jean-Claude Forest Barbarella French comic books, from which the film was adapted.
So yes, you can expect to see the occasional music post here on GDG, because really, you can take the girl outta the DJ booth, but you can’t take the music outta the girl. ♥
